Does your son or daughter want to take their goalkeeping to the next level? The High Performance Group at the Menorca Goalkeeper School (EPM) is designed for goalkeepers who already compete in federated categories and are looking for more demanding, more specific, and more competition-oriented training.
Who is this program for?
The High Performance Group is aimed at goalkeepers who meet three non-negotiable conditions:
- They compete in federated categories.
- They have clear sporting goals.
-
They show high commitment and consistency in training.
This is not an initiation group: it is a small space (2 to 4 goalkeepers) for those who already want to train like a professional and work on all areas of the game: tactical understanding, technique, mental strength, integration with the team, and physical capacity.
Training Methodology
The program is based on a professional methodology adapted from Toni Pascual's work, constantly optimized according to the experience and training of the EPM technical team. It is a methodology that is:
- Goalkeeper specific
-
Individualized for each player
- Progressive
- Competition-oriented
Each 1h30' session combines high intensity, real match exercises, and constant feedback, with personalized technical corrections for each goalkeeper. In addition, all sessions are recorded and complemented with 30 minutes of weekly video analysis, where the work done is reviewed and improvements are planned.
Those who wish can extend the program with a customized physical, nutritional, or mental coaching plan.
A team behind each goalkeeper
The group is led by goalkeeping coaches Joan Orfila and Mireia Bonilla, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team:
- Talks and follow-up on psychological skills applied to the world of goalkeeping.
- Training and anthropometric assessments on sports nutrition, with the possibility of individual service.
- Collaboration agreement with Clínica Activa Menorca for physical preparation, injury prevention, and load monitoring, with monthly visits and the option of personal sessions in small groups.
Schedule and Location
The High Performance Group trains every Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, from October to May, at the Los Nogales Municipal Sports Field (Es Migjorn Gran - Balearic Islands).
How to register
Spaces are limited due to the group's format (2-4 goalkeepers), so the recommendation is not to wait until the last minute. For more information on registration, schedules, or availability of spaces for the 2026-2027 season, please contact the Menorca Goalkeeper School directly:
