YES... the new USA'94 Pro have arrived at TwoFive. The Usa'94 land in the collection with great changes and improvements compared to their predecessors. Two iconic venues: Los Angeles'94 Pro and New York'94. Two of the most important cities in the United States and two of the venues for the 1994 World Cup. One of the most important new features is that both models will have a companion with a similar aesthetic in the Advance range, changing only certain technical aspects.
As for its history, the Los Angeles'94 model honors the Rose Bowl, the stadium that hosted the matches in Angelino territory. At the Rose Bowl, a stadium with a capacity of 92,600 people (the stadium with the largest capacity at the 1994 World Cup), part of the matches of Group A (Romania, Switzerland, United States and Colombia) and Group B (Brazil, Sweden, Russia and Cameroon) were played. The first match played at that stadium was Colombia 1-3 Romania with a spectacular performance by Răducioiu, the Romanian striker for AC Milan.
In addition, the World Cup final was played in Los Angeles in a thrilling match between Brazil and Italy that ended up being decided on penalties with Roberto Baggio's last miss in the fifth penalty that gave the Brazilian team the victory. In that penalty shootout, we were lucky enough to see two great goalkeepers in action; Taffarel (Brazil) and Pagliuca (Italy).
As for the New York'94 model, it honors the Giants Stadium, which hosted the matches on New York soil. The Giants Stadium was the venue for the teams of Group E (Mexico, Ireland, Italy and Norway) and Group F (Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Belgium and Morocco). At that venue, we saw Jorge Campos, the legendary Mexican goalkeeper who dazzled with his striking kit in the 1994 World Cup. It was in a thrilling Mexico vs. Bulgaria round of 16 match in which the European team eliminated the Mexicans in a penalty shootout in which Bulgarian goalkeeper Borislav Mikhailov stood out, saving up to 3 penalties.
Both models will be available in the PRO range (ContactGrip palm, top quality neoprene...) but also with an identical appearance in the ADVANCE range (SoftGrip palm, mid-range neoprene...).
