How to "activate" the latex or grip of the glove when I receive it new?
Each type of latex has a different activation process to achieve its maximum performance:
ContactGrip: The palm comes pre-activated from the factory, so it does not require a deep initial wash. Simply remove the protective film, moisten the palms about 20 minutes before first use to awaken the latex. From then on, you only need to slightly dampen the gloves before each match or training session. After this process, the palm offers maximum grip from the first use.
GigaGrip: This palm does not have a protective film, but it is covered by a thin layer of powder that protects the latex during storage. To activate it correctly, it must be washed with plenty of lukewarm water before the first use, removing all residues. The latex reaches its maximum grip after the first two or three uses, at which point it offers performance very similar to that of the ContactGrip palm.
SoftGrip: The SoftGrip palm requires activation similar to GigaGrip, with a generous initial wash to remove factory residue and activate the material. Although its grip does not reach the adherence level of the GigaGrip, it offers greater resistance and ease of maintenance, making it an ideal option for training or high-demand conditions.
RoughProfile: The activation process is similar to the SoftGrip palm, requiring an initial wash with plenty of lukewarm water to remove factory residue and activate the latex. Once activated, simply moisten the palms slightly before each use to maintain consistent and stable performance. The grip level is lower than the SoftGrip palm, but in contrast, it offers greater durability.

When and how to wash gloves?
Under no circumstances should you put your gloves in the washing machine, as they could be severely damaged. To wash them correctly, do it by hand with warm water and, preferably, use TwoFive's Glove Cleaner.
Below, we provide links to both the demonstration video and the product:

How to dry and store gloves for longer durability?
The glove drying process is essential to ensure maximum durability. They should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area of the home, such as a room or hanger, and it is highly recommended to remove them from the bag after each use to allow them to air out in that space. This will help prolong the life of the glove.
Under no circumstances should they be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, as the latex can be severely damaged and completely lose its grip, especially in the PRO and ADVANCE range models.
What is the difference between training gloves and match gloves?
Match gloves offer very high grip but low durability, so it is not recommended to use them in training, as their wear and tear would be very rapid. This is because the palm's composition is made of natural latex. At TwoFive, these gloves correspond to the PRO range and some specific models in the ADVANCE range.
On the other hand, training gloves have less grip but much greater durability, as their palm is composed of synthetic latex. This makes them ideal for training, where the same level of grip as in a match is not required. At TwoFive, this type of glove corresponds to the BASIC range and certain models in the ADVANCE range.
How to prevent premature latex deterioration due to abrasion?
Deterioration due to abrasion is an inevitable factor for any goalkeeper, although there are certain tips that can help prolong the life of the gloves.
Do not fall with palms in actions that require sliding: in low-height stretches, where the body usually stops due to the pressure of the palms against the ground, gloves suffer great wear and tear; therefore, it is advisable that, once the block or clearance is made, the goalkeeper uses their fists to stop and thus avoid damage to the palm.
Do not get up by supporting yourself with the palms of the gloves: by pushing off the ground with your hands, the latex wears out quickly; therefore, it is better to get up using your fists to reduce degradation.
Condition of the playing field: training or playing on fields in good condition also helps keep gloves in better condition, as abrasion on the latex is lower, although this factor does not directly depend on the goalkeeper.
Do the gloves breathe well? Do they have breathable materials to prevent excessive odor?
All TwoFive gloves feature breathable fabrics that help minimize unpleasant odors after intensive use. Even so, a recommended action to prevent odors is to apply talcum powder to the inside of the glove, where the hand is inserted, which will help reduce them significantly.
Under no circumstances should talcum powder be applied to the palm of the glove, as this will negatively affect its grip.
